Our First Official Game Night! Plus, Check Out These High Value Coupons for Hasbro Games!

Now that my son is almost 6 and my daughter is 3, we decided to try out our First Official Game Night last Wednesday. Obviously, the 3 year old does not have the attention span to last too long, but we included her anyway.

We decided to start off with Operation, and then concluded with a couple games of Go-Fish (Gold-Fish).

I know this is terrible to admit, but I had never played Operation before. Well, I'm glad I finally got an opportunity to play. It is definitely a lesson in patience and skill. I highly recommend not drinking a bunch of caffeine before hand, because you have to have a steady hand.

My son had a good time as well, however, he still gets a little impatient if he doesn't win every time. As for the Go-Fish my son loved this. He would have kept playing if it was not time for bed.

So needless to say, we will be having another family game night this week and I am really looking forward to it!

Surprise! Guess Who Is Expecting Number 3!

3 months along today and no I am not growing a Manatee in my Belly!

So my hubby and I have some exciting news, we are expecting baby number #3 and, thankfully I am at the end of my 1st Trimester! It has been tough keeping the news under wraps, but we wanted to wait till I was at least 3 months along before we said anything.

We knew we had to say something soon though, because my belly is sticking out already and my pants are getting tighter and tighter.

It is funny how child birth makes you forget how tough the first months of pregnancy are, and I am just glad those months are behind me. The kiddos are really excited, however my daughter has indicated that she only wants a girl baby. (I told her we will take whatever God gives us, she doesn't seem to agree with me though)

I am by no means a woman who glows when she is pregnant, and I have been so tired and sick lately, (and smells have gotten the best of me). This week however, I started to get my energy back and I'm looking forward to getting out with the kiddos and doing some normal family activities. My hubby is ready for me to start preparing meals on a regular basis.

So, I am really looking forward to getting back to my normal routine, such as blogging on a regular basis. Now I have even more fun things to share.

So pray for me and wish me luck, approximately 6-7 more months to go!

A Mother's Moment! Ready For A Laugh?

I have been real slow moving this week, and got a late start today.

I went into the kitchen to make my coffee. I did my usual routine, ground the beans, put in the filter, and filled it up with water. I then proceeded to sit down and wait for the coffee, but nothing happened. Of course, I was completely disgusted with the machine thinking that it was broke.

I stared at it and became even more irritated. About 5 minutes later I realized that I needed to push the "brew now" button (The On Button).

Now if this was a brand new machine, this would be understandable, but I have owned this thing for over a year.

Apparently, I need a Coffee Machine that can read my mind.
